About | Maggie Ruder

Maggie is a graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design, with a concentration in Exhibit and Environmental Design. Maggie started her film career as an On-Set Dresser, and has moved through the ranks as an Art Dept Coordinator, Art Director and Graphic Designer. Now based in LA, Maggie is always eager to get back to NYC (or anywhere else) for the right project.

Maggie’s work is often graphically inspired, and she loves to work on projects that require creative thinking, historical context and a good laugh.

She has had the pleasure of working with international crews from China, Japan and India, and has worked on location in the Philippines, Nebraska, Atlanta, Upstate New York and Seattle. Maggie is an active member of IATSE Local USA 829 and the Art Directors Guide (IATSE Local 800).

Maggie’s latest projects include the second season of The Other Two for HBOMax, season five of Search Party for HBOMax, and the third season of High School Musical, The Musical, The Series for Disney+.
